Meet Laura & Jordan, Co-Directors of XO Sounds.

It all started with music, a chance meeting, and a guitarist who made quite the impression.

Laura and Jordan met in 2012 at one of Jordan’s gigs, where Laura came to cheer on her friend Elle May (little did she know, she’d leave cheering for the guitarist too). Sparks flew, melodies intertwined, and by 2015, they’d hit the perfect harmony – marriage.

Jordan, a natural visionary with an ear for greatness, Co-founded Oberon Lane in 2016 with his former colleague and friend Elle May (yes, that same mutual friend who unknowingly played matchmaker!). Laura and Jordan became a dynamic musical duo on the Oberon Lane roster, performing together at countless weddings and celebrations, and they quickly became a favourite among couples looking for a truly special musical experience.

Over time, Oberon Lane grew into one of NSW and Tasmania’s leading music booking agencies, handling over 700 weddings and events annually. Laura joined the Oberon Lane team as Event Details Manager in 2022, ensuring every event was executed with precision and care. Together, they built a reputation for exceptional live music and seamless event management.

In early 2025, Laura and Jordan decided to start a new chapter: XO Sounds. A perfect balance of big-picture thinking (Jordan’s forte) and detail-oriented finesse (Laura’s superpower), XO Sounds is the next evolution in their shared love for bringing unforgettable music to life.

When they’re not curating dream soundtracks for weddings and events, you’ll find them chasing after their two little girls, debating the best classic albums, and continuing the love story they began all those years ago. Together, they’re a match made in heaven – on stage, in business, and in life.
