Why Gus Is Tasmania’s #1 DJ Sax Performer
Gus is one of Australia’s most in-demand DJ sax performers, known for his explosive stage presence, elite musicianship and ability to send a dance floor into absolute meltdown. His signature “doof sax” sound blends live improvisation with high-energy DJ tracks — think house, RnB, dance, pop and club anthems with soaring sax riffs over the top.
He performs everywhere from luxury weddings to major sporting events, including work with professional basketball teams and the Hobart Hurricanes. Couples book Gus because he brings something no playlist or standard DJ set can match: pure, live hype.
Whether he’s on the dance floor with your guests, onstage beside the DJ, or roaming the room with a wireless sax, Gus creates unforgettable moments all night long. He reads the crowd, hits the right drop at the right time and builds energy in a way that only a true performer can.
If you want a reception to feel like a festival moment — Gus is the upgrade.
